Ramen DANBO, which originated in Chikushino City, Fukuoka Prefecture in 2000, is currently growing throughout Okinawa Prefecture. Our first restaurant in Okinawa opened in November, 2007 on Makishi Okiei Street in Naha City. Since then, we’ve expanded to six shops, providing the people of Okinawa with the flavor of authentic Fukuoka tonkotsu ramen. We also offer original dishes created in collaboration with the local community, that feature locally-sourced vegetables and ingredients, celebrating Okinawa’s unique food culture.
Ramen DANBO, which originated in Chikushino City, Fukuoka Prefecture in 2000, is now expanding throughout North America, in Canada and the United States. We currently have four shops in Vancouver, BC, one in Seattle, and two in New York. The characters in the name “Dan-bo” (暖暮) express the company’s desire to ‘bring warm and comforting ramen into our customer’s daily lives’. Ever since its establishment, Ramen DANBO has consistently provided North American customers with the same amazing taste one can find in Japan.
Ramen KOURYU was first founded in Nakameguro, Tokyo, in 2001 and specializes in ramen that can be customized to suit each customer’s preferred taste. There are currently two locations, in Okinawa Prefecture, Japan. Diners can select noodle firmness, the thickness and richness of the Tonkotsu broth, whether or not to include fresh scallions or Chashu sliced pork, the amount of spicy sauce, and various toppings.
